Timing in irrlicht

Does the engine do timing automatically? Because I was looking at the source for the tech demo and there is no timing code. If not, how would it be possible to lock the framerate at a certain speed such as 30fps?

Timing can be handled by using the ITimer (i think, might be CTimer) class.
