a very very n00bish question about textures!

hi,
in the moment i am making a 3D book which will have animated pages flipping over and since irrlicht works better with power of 2 textures befor creating them I decided to ask
and the question is
are only
256x256,512x512,1024x1024,2048,2048 and so on considered power of 2 textures or for example
512x1024 is also a power of two question
