Yeah I just translated it from command line thing to GUI, so that people who have just switched from Windows can get themselves started faster. :)

But I recently found that the repositories are not working eh? Or was it just temporary?

As i said, mine worked perfect once I edited my repositories, and its still flawless. A different source before the codeblocks one jammed and didnt let the codeblocks download, so once I got rid of the other source it worked. Sometimes one thing affects another, even in ubuntu. Very very rare, but it happens. Happens every day with Windows, but thats what you get.

It wasnt the tutorials fault, or Ubuntu´s, an old repository had closed down or something.

I have never bothered to use repos at all, I've just gone to the forums, and downloaded the latest nightly .deb package!

Another way is to go.

System->Administrator->Synaptic Pack Manager->Search: Code::Blocks -> Install.

This sometimes does not work though :D
