No, that's SourecForge. There's sometimes a terrible load on the SF servers which hits the db behind this forum (or the php scripts?).

If it was every site doing this, then I'd be worried about my connection. I'm not going slow on any other site nor am I lagging in any game I have played today.

I'm using broadband. When viewing other sites, it's fast as usual, but sometimes I can't even enter the forum. It loads by 30 seconds or so and "page cannot be displayed" or the download manager popping out asking me to download the PHP file. =_="

As Hybrid said it's a sourceforge problem, a better host would solve the problem.

If the boards are slow, try to go to the main irrlicht site http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net. If that page opens fast, but http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/ is slow, that is a pretty good indicator it is not the host.

Well, not all SF servers are co-located, and the load-balancing does a pretty bad job in case some parts of their machines are under maintenance. It's also sometimes the case that projects with letters of some range are inaccessible or pretty slow, while others are working without problems. So it's not always that easy...

Right now its going really fast compared to before, maybe the problems have subsided? Can anyone confirm this?
