NGE Logo Competition!

Hello to you artists.
As you can see my Photoshop skills are pretty lame.
I would like to have a new logo, made by an artist.
Something like:
NGE
An Easy & Powerful Game Engine
Theme:
Blue/Silver with lightning in its spirit.
Are you up to it

I have to say i quite like your current logo. The only problem with it really is that it's a bit low quality; jagged edges and the like.

I dont agree. i think thier current logo is quite ugly :p

Perhaps, but JP hasnt justified why does he likes it aswell. So lets leave it as is.

you dirtied the view but wont justify? lolcakes.
I think the logo is a bit, not as cool as it could be. depending on what you aiming for, futuristic? bright? dark? classy? cartoony?
I can whip something up, i got some time to, just an indication of what look you want will help...

Here were my original tries at a logo for NGE (without the correct subscript slogan).
I had tried to keep it clean and slick, and futuristic looking.

@Halifax: How about playing around some more and trying to make another logo which will be completely different then those?

Sorry, I'm just not an artist type of guy.
I wish I could do something different, but once I get stuck on something I can't break away from it, so if you could possibly give a more in-depth description of what exactly you are looking for, then that would help me out a great deal.

thats a good effort halifax, im by no means saying you suck. it jsut would need a lot to look futuristic or anything like that..
there are three spots here, :

This is like, really fast and lame imo. but you might like it. Also, a note.
A logo is not a image, it is usualy a shape, or made up of shapes. like the A letter that adobe uses, thats the logo. but the feather image with all the pretty pictures is just a picture. the logo appears in it...
(most times)
U can suggest changes. its easy to make this kind thing[/img]

So what are those 3 spots there for? Are you making three different logos for NGE?

Well, I like the 3rd one but the font is horrible (sorry
) and there are some lines under 'E', look those small lines..
Oh and you forgot the slogan
