Thats right, an easy approach to animated stuff.
Sprites, menus, billboards you name it.

OLD DEMO rELEASED.
I figured im getting enough requests and stuff so here is 0.1

Im curently on about 0.9 but the code is "broken" with the missing functionality im busy adding. its a whole sprite factory soon :)
inlcuding,HUD and GUI management kinda animated junk ;p

anyway :

Nice :) I found the gear was partly mirrored below, not sure if that is an issue or a feature.

A tutorial on making those glow animations would complement it wonderfully :P

Thats pretty awesome, this style of gui is fitting for any decent commercial game out there.

Thanks for the comments, and no im not inspired by gears of war, iv never even seen the menu of it. iv played it on xbox at the local eswc but it was like against ppl all the time, so i didnt see the menu if thats what you mean!

Wow.. i have come to the irrlicht forums after a while.. but ill have to say this seems to be one of the best project that has ever been done with irrlicht.. Awesome work fuzzyspoon..

Thanks rapchik. glad u enjoy it. it is coming soon i swear :D been busy sorting my life and times out a bit! but yea. the full game will be posted soon. there is a "half baked" complete version if you PM me i will give it to you but its missing a lot of the main cool factor. has all the win of the graphics though :)
