The "Dungeoneer!" project is currently searching for talented low poly modelers who can help us with artwork. Mostly we are searching for someone with the imagination and the talent to concept and model all possible kinds of fantasy creatures and dungeon props. Animating skills are not necessarly required, but would be more than welcome.

For more information about this project please check

What license will the models be released under. If you get the say, Creative Commons? GPL? MIT?

Pretty much creator's choice when it comes to 3rd party contributors. The creator is free to do whatever he wants with the model. So if wishes to made it publicly acessible, we are fine by that.

That depends if you are whilling to work for free, since we're a non-commercial project.

I usually don't work for free. But I can imagine to work for free given the fact I get good reference pictures and I am allowed to sell the models later in our shop.

Currently we are in need of props and all kinds of non-animated objects including placeables, furniture, decoration and weapons. Do you need concept art for that too or only creature models? Because even though we do have some creature concept art available, most of it belongs to 3rd party contributors aswell, and by selling something based on their work you would be violating their rights. That is why we specifically asked for someone who can concept and model.

I see. But then there is no advantage for me anymore.

I can concept a model. I used to learn painting in a painters atelier. But it would be inspiring and time-saving if I get good concepts and do only the modelling job. So we all are on the winner side.

If I do everything on my own then I will just sell it through the shop like always. Then there is no advantage for me in this deal - only for you - you are the single winner then - this is a bit one sided.

It would be my pleasure to accept your previous deal if we had concepts made by the internal staff. Unfortunately since all of our concepts are either donated or done by contributors, I cannot risk to violate their rights, like i said before.

Nevertheless if we ever get more concepts and require an extra hand in modeling, i will be sure to contact you and propose the same deal.
