Hello ACE247 - irrb 0.6 supports Blender 2.5 and it is coming along nicely.

It appears that 2.5's Python API has become somewhat stable so I will start working on updating the irrb manual. Once that is finished, I'll start a separate thread for irrb 0.6 hopefully sometime in January.

Here are a couple of preview screen shots showing the new Scene (export) and Irrlicht Material panels.

If only blender had a FPS cam, like valve hammer editor or GKT radiant :(

@Fury - Sorry, irrb doesn't support directly importing .irrmesh files. However, it may be possible to use "imeshcvt" or Irrlicht's "MeshConverter" tool to convert to a format that may be imported into Blender.

@Virion - Yes, Blender is a fantastic level editor.

@serengeor - (had a FPS cam), the iwalktest utility uses an FPS camera that let's you walk through and test your exported levels using Irrlicht.

Yes, Blender 2.5 is in beta and the current beta version is 2.55. The next beta release is expected to be available in the 1st week of January 2011.

Hey pc0de, I posted a googlecode issue a while back relating to imeshcvt.exe and absolute texture paths. Did you get a chance to look at that?

Yikes, you added that back in May of last year, talk about patience :). It looks like I may have neglected to enter my email for notifications.

Anyway, I believe that problem has been fixed. Please try this pre 0.6 Windows version: Let me know if you need a Linux binary or if this update doesn't fix your problem. Thanks.
