I launched RTS project, and am making fundamental part of the game system. This demo shows the scene of capturing units. Tanks are nothing but temporary nodes.

Nice one, looks like you've got some of the important basics working nicely in there.

Any more info on the game at all? What features do you plan? Anything special that you're going to attempt or is it a learning process or just a simple fun game?

I do not determine what game I will create concreatly. As you say, I am programing with learning irrlicht and advanced usage of C++. So my work proceeds slowly so far. I 'm thinking the age of the game medieval or modern.
I have to design 3D models in the near future.

As it's just a learning process you could get away with just bumbling along without any planning but you may still be better off actually planning what you'd like to do, what features you'd like to have as then you'll be less likely to head off in one direction and then later realise that that direction isn't compatible with something else you really want to do and then end up having to reprogram a large chunk, if not all, of your game.

Just a suggestion anyway, good luck!

Hi! It's a long time since I saw you last.
I stoppped develpoing for a while. But I resumed the other day.
Now I am grappling with animation, that is to say, letting models act according to situations --for example, rendering walking animation when models march. And I found it difficult to set timing of animation to real conditions and render animations properly. I am feeling happy to have completed a simple demo anyway.
I must contrive to move models much precisely and adjust animations after now.
Ah, ah, I'm calling you... :o

I managed to achieve to adjust animations to various situations. A sequence of these works let me notice that animation effects were harder coding than I had imagined. In fact I reached the end by trial and error.
It is obvious that this result made me advance to the goal somehow, though. So I can face next problems after now.
