can we have subforums for irr addons?

If this does happen, it would be nice to have the IrrExt program that some people (I'm sorry, I can't recall exactly who) were working on hosted there too, I think.

There's no real use for that IMHO. If the threads become too full there could be several posts for updates and support or so...

Yeah it's been discussed before and the result was a no..

the project forum serves for all projects, it might be a bit silly splitting projects into games, apps and addons etc... could make things easier though i suppose...

but IrrExt is meant to be the solution to this, just seems a bit quiet and all... Plus i don't like the fact you need CVS to get the extensions.. can't be assed with setting all that stuff up!

irrExt is *not* using CVS, but SVN... And there will be binary releases for each major version, so it's really like Irrlicht 8)

Coulda sworn someone said they needed CVS to access it... maybe they misunderstood it, good to hear it's basically like irrlicht then, makes sense to do that!
