Hi guys,

I'm looking for a real time avatar. I'm looking for a solution that can help us move an avatar from different perspectives of a scene. Idealy the avatar should be able to talk (move lips) and have a few facial emotions.

THe quality of the rendering is secondary, we need a real time behavior (controled with standard joystick or whatever usual controler).

Any offer ?

ok, ill make you an avatar generator program, what will talk, it will be able make sounds (like youre talking), or record your voice, you'll be able to put it to your msn, and everybody will be able to see it without changing anything in the msn.
it will cost ya 1000,1000,000$ ok?

apart from joking, why do you put it into project ANNOUNCEMENTS???
it isn't annoucing anything -.-
you know, you should write here, when you made this project, or making, but progressing well.. it isn't a team finder.
so go away noob

@B@z: In case you haven't noticed yet - this is usually a very beginner friendly forum, so please try to be kind. Also anyone ever using the word noob should imho be slapped immediately with a large trout.

@davidboostman: This is a programmer forum, so I doubt we can help you. To create a 3D Avatar you will need an artist who can model that for you. To make that avatar move around in some world you will then need a programmer who can do that for you. Also the task can be, depending on your actual setting, rather small (a few days work) or extremely large (several months work).
This just isn't enough information.

Also I guess this thread should be moved to offtopic.

CuteAlien:
this forum is for beginners, not for those who cant read
" Project Announcements
Announce new projects or updates of Irrlicht Engine related tools, games, and applications."
if he had post it to beginners help or offtopic or open discussion, i wouldn't say anything.
but please, read before post -.-
