hi,

i have updated my 3d file converter. Ani2Pov can now convert animated sequences of .an8 files from Anim8or to Milkshape3D files (.ms3D), which are supported by Irrlicht 3D !!!

http://texel3d.free.fr/projets/ani2pov

It cannot convert skinned meshes for the time beeing. Each vertices of an object can be moved by only one bone. You can convert animations like the one from the "Simple Walk" tutorial of the Official Anim8or forum.
I will try to support skinned meshes in future version.

Anim8or is a free modeler and it is easy to use.

Any bug reports are welcome.
And don't forget to export normals in the .an8 files in order to have vertex normals converted in the .ms3d file ("Option->Debug->Output Normals" in the Anim8or menu).
