Ok, since programing each model in is laughably ridiculous, like moving rocks by hand instead of trucks, I of course need a map editor.
I'm looking for one that does normal maps. I like irredit's features, they pretty much all look great. But it would be kind of stupid to place all my models, then have to poke around and find all there node #s and then code normal maps into each model...
I'm not sure I like the exporting as one mesh, since it makes it hard to have endless terrain, or at least very large maps. So, I come to, I need a map editor that lets you apply normal maps, and doesn't export everything as one mesh. Is there such a thing, because if not, I fear the Irrlicht developers have made sick mountain of wheels.
