Hi I'm new to Irrlicht and I want to know how good is it?
I mean today there is the Unreal Engine and the CryEngine which cost to mush for a single person.
Am I able with Irrlich do the same of nearly same graphic effects like in these engines?

I searched in the Internet and I did not find any game which has a really good graphic for today.

Does Irrlicht support the same Features like the the professional Engines??

I do not want to say that Irrlich is bad or so, I just want to know the maximum the engine can do.

Thanks

Yes, you can. At least to a very large extent. And since your comparison measure is somewhat minimal, the features of Irrlicht will suffice for a very long time for your purpose.

I think that Irrlicht can do quite a lot out of the box, and there are tons of code snippets and projects in this forum that extend the engine with new features, like soft shadows and so on. The main argument for Irrlicht imho is that it's easy to use and easy to extend.
