Hello,
While doing some examples with Stencil shadows I have found a strange artefact that appears on the surface of the object.
The artefact is a complete shadow image of the shadowed object at the clipping plane of the camera. I have made it more visible here by shortening the far distance of the camera to just 500.0 units and making the shadows red.
The further away the far distance the smaller it becomes. At the moment I am making the artefact invisible by increasing the camera far distance to 50,000.0 units.
Has anyone else seen this, is it a known problem I couldn't find anything in the forums on it.

Yes, this has been reported many times already. But since the shadow also has other problems, it will be replaced by a completely rewritten version. It's almost working already, besides a different projection problem I think I have uploaded the latest version of the patch on the patch tracker if you want to try it. Maybe you can find the problem or give some hint what is missing.
