Name of the Game

Post by Acki »

Hi,
IIRC it was in the early 1980's...
there was a code floating around for a "Bot-Fighting-Arena" system...
in fact it was a main program that handled the arena map (simple 2d array) and the bots...
then you could write simple scripts for the bots to let them move around the map and attack fields of it...
the main program took two bot-scripts and let fight them on the map...

it was very simple and had no graphics, just text output (maybe there where also verions with graphics)...

I hope someone is old enough to remember the name of it ??? ;)

thx, Acki
