Hi, I'd like to know the name of the authors of the Dwarf.X and Faerie.md2 models that are included in the media folder of the Irrlicht SDK.

Are these models totally free to use in my applications as I want?

Thx.

I am the author of dwarf, unless there's more than one dwarf x file in irrlicht ;)

I wont say you my name (reason why I have't yet posted at "who's everybody" thread) , as I never put my real name and location in any forum, is a kind of paranoia I have.

But actually you, and anyone, can use the dwarf for whatever they want.

I just thought is not good enough for any other thing than serving niko as a test sample for the irrlicht engine.

Oh, was animated -rough and quick, as a joke with some friends of mine, kindda mixing lotr with south park, lol - in Character Fx, in case u need to know that detail.

it says somewhere in the documentation who created them.

they are free to use in your projects if the project is free..otherwise you'll never sell it...just kidding (maybe)

anyways I'm sure as long as you don't charge money for the project you could scaith by without even given due credit if thats your wishes.
