Post by fjpeces »

Hello I'm new in Irrlicht.

I have to use it in order to create a surgery navigator. My problem is that i need to use a Physics engine in order to implement collision detector, to implemet my model like a ragdoll...

What Physics Engine would you recommend me???

I've been reading something about, Ageia Physx, IrrNewt... But my problem is that is my first time working about geme engine and i don't know.

Sorry about my english :(

There is a wrapper for PhysX in the project announcements forum somewhere, but I don't know how good it is ... never tried it. You can either use the wrapper or use it as a starting point so that you don't have to implement everything needed again.

I use Bullet engine. There is quite good tutorial on the wiki how to integrate it with irrlicht. Also you can explore bullet's website and forum. If you prefer to use a wrapper there is irrBullet.
