Some months ago when implementing freetype into some of my projects I needed some good fonts which I could use without having to worry about licensing issues (font licensing is a huge pain in the *ss)
I stumbled upon this: http://www.google.com/webfonts
Literally hundreds of great, freely licensed and open source fonts ready for use in any type of application
I hadn't seen it posted around here (and if it has already been posted, please forgive me ), but this could be great for people using the bitmap font tool to generate their fonts, or for people who have integrated a font rasterizing library in their projects

Thank you VERY much! I was stuck in pretty much the same problem for quite a while now.
Free Font variety was already getting pretty limited for me. Not anymore now!
