[3dFoin] Fantasy Snake

Hi all, we have new model again: the Fantasy Snake, tada:

Snakes are cool and evil! They will make your game more interesting cos they can infect and kill your players with their deadly poison. The model has 3596 triangles with 4 color options. $17 only! Yayyy

how are you texturing these?
Texture painting?
Graphics application?
Combination?
(I prefer the latter of the three options)

The models are high detail sculpted in Zbrush then we bake those details into textures and normal maps. :)

hmm. so the scales were baked into a normal map and not texture painted?
Interesting...
I am going to try that and see if it is quicker and/or easier. (blender)
I generally only use it for making low poly seem high poly... though with the combination of texture painting.

The scales are painted (in zbrush) and baked into the texture also, so combining with the normal map the model looks like a very detailed high polygon one :D
