Nice project, it's a bit slow on my computer 25 FPS - 1GHz/GF 5500/256 RAM, but i like the atmosphere.
Did you model the level ?

The Screenshots look nice! But I can't polish so i just downloaded the demo... at about 2.9 kb/sec...

But when installing my AntiVirus Programm popped up with
Trojan: TRPSW.IDI.2
in some file

I don't think you wanted to publish some trojan, maybe this was an error of AntiVir. But i don't like playing this with a possible trojan in there

But these Screenshots are looking very promising, keep it up!

How long did it took you, to create that game so far?

MasterD , are you sure you spelled correctly the name of the trojan your anti-vir program found ?

Well, I think so, it was just copy+paste, but i don't know the file anymore, it was something in /bin/...

I don't know much about viruses but I'm kind of worried about having a trojan on my system...
Btw. I'm using AntiVir (antivir.de) with definitions of 13.12.04.

I modelled the level. I didn't put any trojan there - I don't know what's going on with it

I'm a student, so I haven't got much time for this. I do it on the weekends

I would love to see this game in action, but haven't downloaded it yet, because of the trojan MasterD reported...

Had anyone who already downloaded it also a virus warning? Because if not I'm definetely going to check out the demo.

Or another possibility: Morpheus, would you be so kind to check the files with a good anti virus program (maybe on a different pc) and upload a guaranteed clean version, so we can be sure those files are harmless?

upload the file to www.virustotal.com this page uses 8 scan engines..

Hi all,
i checked that and the trojan was in the avi player file, that i downloaded from internet. I changed player to another, so now it's clean. I checked it with anti-vir, that MasterD is using and it didn't point any virus alert. You can now download the pre-alpha of game.

I downloaded your demo yesterday, it took me about 4-6 hours...

But it was worth it, made a lot of fun! I'm really looking forward for your next release. I like the sounds of the mutants, especially when they die and the church looks very nice.

Why do you need a swap file of about 160 megs to play that game, does it improve performance a lot? Btw, it runs nicely and smooth on my athlon 1,6+, 512 mb, geforce4 ti 4200 (128mb).

It increase performance on slow computers, like P3 500 MHz or something about that.

Here are cheats:
F2 - debug info (FPS, polys, level)
F3 - darker screen
F4 - lighter screen
F5 - full health
F6 - all weapons
F7 - full ammo

PS. you can switch weapons by pressing 1 or 2 or 3 key
