would it be much work to get this working on the Shader pipeline branch?

because i know you made extencive modification to the texture management on your version

Anway - stuff mentioned in title is now all gone from Irrlicht trunk. Anyone who still needs it please use Irrlicht 1.8

Sorry, my fault :) Well, given you've removed old stuff i just wondered if it would mean making room for new additions.

But given that there are at the moment two (or three!) working versions of Irrlicht, i think it would be a good time to merge them into a single one just so you did't move on diferent directions in each branch that could shadow significant changes made on other.

We're working on getting closer to merging them for over a year already. OGL-es is pretty close by now. But we need branches to try out stuff. Otherwise we would have a constantly broken Irrlicht trunk (the main branch) or one where the interfaces change all the time.
