a friend of mine sent me this link to a forum about Bucaramanga, the city where I live. It's comparing how it was 25 years ago and now. It's in spanish, but the pics are nice!!!!

thnx Magnus! It was taken around 1985. The city has grown ever since, specially vertically since we don't have much plain lands in which direction to grow.
I sent the link yesterday to a friend of mine who's been in Australia for 4 years now and she immediately wrote me a letter crying and sobbing, hehehehehe .........nostalgia!!!

That is a lot of tall growth. Just think of how much your city will change in the next 10 years..
You live in a good looking city there.
I like the sidewalk in the one pic.

well MikeR, that was just after the demolition of the original huts and when we were able to get down of the trees by the lianas!!! lol
yup, it's a very nice city and its people are even better.... and you should see our chicks!!!
