Irrlicht Engine

Hello,

is there any speculation on when developers will release 1.9 series?
I cannot find any topic on it, there is only the SVN (as far as I know);
Will there be new features and/or additions to the API?

I'm sorry if this topic is on the wrong board.

It's only a few years behind it's planned release-date so far *sigh*. Maybe will be released this year, I hope so, but currently no developer has time for anything beside maintenance, so last 2-3 months there was no real progress.

svn trunk and svn ogl-es are both relatively stable and are supported when you run into problems (meaning I generally will take time to check all bugreports there and look if I can fix them). Those are also the versions I use for my daily job (mostly svn trunk, but also worked some months with ogl-es last year).
