Irrlicht V0.8 is out!!!

Post by afecelis »

hey guys, I was chatting with some Irrlichters on MSN tonight and many didnt know v8.0 is out.

It seems like most of us come straight to the forums, leaving the official homesite out...and that's where Niko announces new versions!!!

so to make it official:

IRRLICHT V0.8 IS NOW OFFICIAL!!!! GET IT WHILE ITS HOT!!!

the per pixel light demo is simply amazing!!!!

have fun

Not to correct you or anything but you have a small typo. Its version 0.8!

But other then that its good to know you are going to keep the community up dated on what goes on.

@ Niko - Great job on the PerPixel. :D v0.8 is sweet!

I like the pixel shading. Looks excellent. In the demo it looks a little fuzzy though. When I look at the ceiling at least. The globe looks super. It also doesn't work in software mode. Not that it's a big deal though, opengl and directx look the same. :)
