Just a Hello

Post by Ramires »

Because I didn't found any Sub-Forum here for this:
Hello everybody - make yourself ready to get 'spammed' with questions about the Irrlicht Engine.
After a long journey trough the web - and many Free 3D Engine Downloads - I decided to use Irrlicht. Maybe because it has an easy handling especially for 'Engine Noobs' like me or because it's features... I really don't know.
Oh and if everyone in my life is using the phrase 'You could make a 3D game if you know how to use C++' again - I'll kill him... (I thought that for myself until I tryed it for myself ;P)

So - '[German] Auf gute Zusammenarbeit [/German]', Ramires

P.S. Sorry for my bad english - german guys aren't the best in this language :D

You could make a 3D game if...(oh, nevermind).

Good luck. It's just that object oriented languages are much better suited for this kind of stuff. Java, C++, C# or VB.NET should do fine. But since primary development is geared toward C++, features for the other languages are likely to lag behind a little (because wrappers have to be updated).

I'd say the beginner's forum is the best spot for asking the actual questions, by the way.
