What's the best 3dsmax5/6 X exporter?

Post by TheAlas »

I just need the wisdom of 3ds users for this one, there are some x exporters but can you tell what is the best for 3dsmax 6 (yup, the 6th one)?

Irrlicht doesn’t need support for some fancy model formats since most serious programmers will write their own, but md3 models are quite popular, is it going to be implemented one day?

I think I’m gonna use Irrlicht a lot, it’s professional, clean, and simple engine.

At the college, they use the Panda .X exporter on 3DS 5 ... I have never personally used 3DS (Prefer the price of Milkshape) but my friend says the Panda exporter is pretty good.

I used Panda before, it seems to be better than it was a few years back, most likely the best exporter today.

Long ago, I used milkshape too; it was a very bad experience, I found it easier to make models in notepad, so I soon replaced it with Blender…

Tanks for reply.
