10X to ask78me I have uploaded my first official IrrlichtK.
IrrlichtK is actualy Irrlicht with some small addition(right now) but it has everithing Irrlicht has (v0.10.0).
New things:
-LoadBar added to the GUIEnv.
-New WaterSurfaceSceneNode (made by me some you may know it but it's
more stable version with an even simpler
formula and less param.)
-A very usful rearange of the media directory
-Acording to OGL and D3D API and because it is alot more easy and benefic
the VideoDriver function beginScene() has no paramiters but
the VideoDriver has 3 new function one to set the backgrownd color one to set if to clear zBuffer and one is to clear backBuffer.
TODO:
-to have a default textures directory so you wont have to put the textures for the 3ds level in the same dir with the level.
-trilinear filter for OGL
-anisotropic filter
-AA (but I need halp for that)
-.......others

Your idea of "Irrlichtk" isn't a bad one. It's how IrrlichtNX started out. I'd say "go for it if it's something you want to do.
