Ok...and what do you want to say with this thread? I'm from Germany. And I enjoy living in my country. But what do the foreigners think about Germany? That would be very interesting!

Germany is cool. I've been there 6 times. But only in Frankfurt, in the airport :) I know I really enjoyed your ELEPHANT beer. Cheap and strong... Also _VERY_ polite airport personell...

everyone i have talked to that has been to germany enjoyed it and would love to go back there, some i talked to even lived there for a couple of years and wouldn't mind moving back
i wouldn't mind visiting in a couple of years when i get the money then a can see what germany has that the US is missing
probably just one of those thing missing from the US is that beer you were talking about and if there is one thing missing there is bound to be many more

but there are good germans, but mostly i find em arrogant, i'm sorry :(

but thats my opinion, but from the guys here in the forum and IRC, those are just friendly :)

Isn't Germany the most lemmings-addicted country in the world?

I am a typical ignorant American

my conscious image of germany mainly involves its 'youth' (my peers, 20-somethings) running around at raves, and germany's growth in the entertainment industry.

Also, I am of the opinion that if you want a mathematician, get him from Germany.

If you find "Elephant" tastefull, try some of these instead:

- duvel
- orval
- westmalle

Specialy the first one, my favorit. About 2 times as strong as a pils beer, and it's served in a glass formed and sized like a woman's breast.

btw. Is Elephant a German beer?

A beer thread? I love it! :D
But i hate elephant. Horrible. :)
I love one called something like "könig ludwig dunkel". Or is it duvel? I remember a K somewhere in the name. :)

But the best beer in the world is probably Guinness!
