Irrlicht Engine

Hey,

Am I the only one that has the problem that this forum loads so slow... and after every click it all takes time..
Other sites all go at high speed (uncashed ones ).
Maybe the server is slow?
Anyways, I've made some irrlicht forums here http://irrlicht.halo4you.com/forums/
I'm working on the website.
Feel free to post there and ask questions there.
There aren't many members yet but I can awnser most of the questions too.
I'll do my best to get this site and forums populair and promote irrlicht with it

The problem with this site is Sourceforge, which occassionally slows down to the point where you want to tear your hair out, scream and run in circles.

That said they do give you mysql and php functionality, so it's not THAT bad.

Ofcourse there is that funcitionallity otherwise a forum won't be a forum anymore

Many hosts offer PHP without MySQL (some forums do fine without sql you see), and many hosts offer PHP with limited SQL usage - ie as soon as your forum start getting many members, it puts a burden on their server and your site gets shut down.

yeah but sometimes T1 can't even help the sourceforge stuff lol

I think there iks either a speed limit set or that the server is overloaded, I mean, has a high load, is very busy.

BTW, it's seems pretty tacky for you to be advertising *your* Irrlicht forums in your sig regardless of your good intentions IMHO.

I recommend to move this forum on a separate webspace... I know a very amazing provider (a german one): www.udmedia.de
PHP/MySQL..and many more features... 3 Euro per month. and their servers are really fast and stable

Your forums were no faster than Irrlicht's.
