who on earth trademarks a free game? lmfao

I'm much too deep into development to waste time coming up with a team name for a one man team.

I don't have any web space either until I get my network up and running at the cafe.

And I'm not too sure but I don't think anyone is interested in my name.. which is MUD I think I don't know that's just what they tell me.

But for the sake of something..

Team name: Guice Project
URL: http://webpages.charter.net/midnight-vi ... 200.11.rar
Members: Midnight (Everything under the sun)

I'm dropping the Midnight Visions name and this is just some ISP web space I would suggest leaving this out you'll just end up with bad links in a weeks time or something. but whatever makes you happy I'll go along with.

I think you should develop a way for people to edit this themselves..maybe apply to the site with a demo or something before listing the name. deleting projects that go dead for a certain period of time. I don't know just seems silly to build a site like this in the first place with so few projects going but I suppose it has to start somewhere and things like this are certainly appreciated.

ADZTEC INDEPENDENT

Hmm sounds professional I suppose.

Also sounds like you want to infect my pc with hidden information gathering software that slows down my internet connection under the guise of a freeware pc game.

Not that you would ever do that I hope.
Just an opinion.

I'm a freelance graduated programmer / analyst. The best team members I could rely on are Google and GameDev.

Too true! And don't forget Me, Myself and I...

I learned early on in the Indie game that most of the people who say they will help are flakes. The rest don't know an integer from a float and couldn't program "Hello World" if your put Visual Basic in front of them...

IntMain, I agree with your statement to the fullest. Also see that half the people that do start up a company "well a no registered company" don't know what their talking about. But you do get a serious person every now and then. Now although I hope that statement was not directed towards me. Other then here I have worked with several game development companies. I have much experience and I am trying to release some of it to the public with this site, while at the same time keeping my much more relaxed job of running a computer gaming café and my own personal projects.

Midnight, Thank you for you wonderful input. As always! I agree I should have a member system and let them do this all themselves however I nor have the time or money to deal with MySQL or coding really deep with PHP.

To the rest I will look over the sites and see if they make good enough quality to be posted! Keep them coming!

@Skater; no personal flames intended. Just my experience...

I do think that are those coders out there that *do* have a sincere desire to get a game written and perhaps published. But, it's a big job and it requires dedication and committment to follow through. I'm sure any coder in these forums who are worth their salt would bear witness: Coding is hard work and frankly folks, you don't get there by trying to code an FPS the first time just getting your feet wet...

Add to that project and asset management, directed goals and mileposts, diverse egos and personalities, etc...

Just my 0.02...

I agree, Programming is very hard! I just moved from C++ to C#. I'm hoping this make my life a little easier! Yeah don't think so, but so far I like it a bit more! I didn't think you was taking a shot at me, I meant that jokingly. I hope I did not offend!

With that aside lets get this back on topic, keep them coming guys I need to compile a nice list for the site! :D
