I'm really sorry for a lame questino but....
How do i export a texture map from 3d max to use with the export 3ds function so i can import it with irrlicht to use a a terrain/world map?
Looked, ggoled and search everywhere i can think and i just cant get my head around it!!!
Can export a map as 3ds but it appears with out any textures, all the UVW stuff i've tried exports textures per item in the map.
Please help, i dont really want to use bsp levels.

the texture must have 8.3 name and be in the same directory with 3ds file when you load the mesh (.3ds)
