i know you're coder, i use your irrconsole :)

we (currently mainly omaremad and me) are working on the drill of the pill.
check this thread for a little more info:
http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/ ... php?t=5165

we also have a website:

Hi mohaps :)
I opened that Serious Sam topic that you mentioned (maybe). I hoped to get some people together, which would enjoy creating such... unfortunatly until now nobody is interested, perhaps the project is on a very large scale.
Anyway, very nice screenshots!!! (It really looks like Serious Sam)

Hi phi,

finishing game projects is a very big deal... ask me... my project Blaze : Proving Ground has been on forever... so i would suggest...get cracking on it...try implementing some initial walker / viewer...basic game logic etc...

then post a screenie / video and ask people to help you...

my two cents...

hey Saurav!

nice work! BTW, you never replied to the mail I sent you with the city screen for bubbleboy, but for what I can see, you're becoming a very good mapper!!!

Just wanted to say hi and ask you if you're already using the commercial version of Cshop5? You say you can save but as for the last beta I got saving was disabled and I still haven't gotten any notice of V5.0 being officially released.

regards
EDITED:
just re-read your post and you also corrected cshop5 to cshop4, heheehehe

is it the same csm loader that come with irr 0.10-0.11? or have you improved it?

hi alavro,

i had sent a reply as soon as i got the pics... the shots were very nice...

i am NOT a mapper :) If you see my maps have just the same building blocks e.g. Simple straight walls... lol

I am currently working on integerating CShop4 scene node via a custom scene node which uses
a) entity properties
b) supports shaders :)
c) allows for waterblocks
d) Volumetric Fog (don't hold your breath... this one is going to take a looooooooooong time).
e) Shadow Volumes for map geometry.
f) Vis Group based culling
g) Trigger zones (Ghost blocks)
e) Movable Map Geometry (like Fans, Doors, Elevators etc.)

(Actually I created a much simpler format (same as CShop but less bulky called LAMP format)

Josh (the author of CShop) sent me the file format for CShop5 and sample files... so i am trying to support Cshop5 when it is released.

Will LAMP make it into Irrlicht as well?

please let me know of any updates and if I can play around with it as well.

Weird, I never got your response....hmmmmmmm

so you still wanna go into the contest?

I developed the city some more so just let me know and I'll send you the level to start playing around with it :D

i see excellent work here

i can offer help for shaders i already made 6 of them 4 irrlicht

http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/ ... php?t=7915

this seems like the most useful project to come to irrlicht if it is accomplished(u have the skills to do so).
