Here is my new finished game Ursus 6, a funny 3d platform game. I think I did many improvements since FunBlobReturn, my first game with Irrlicht.

Nice! :) Very funny little game. The text was little small though, maybe make it a little bigger?

What's you configuration, Sudi ? Do you use Linux ? The game can have some problems running under this environment.
You can also read the end of the README.html, if you want to find yourself a solution.

Did you try in windowed mode ?
You must know that each time the game loads a level, the game is booted again (to free all the memory) with other parameters, using execvp function. Perhaps this method causes some problems on some computers. Which service pack do you have ? The game has been made on Win XP with sp1.

Try to execute the program with parameters, using for example :
all\Projet1.exe 1 3
in the console : it launch directly the game on level 1 with 3 lifes.

I try to find a solution (I think I'll try to do it works without rebooting the game for each level, but in this case there is currently a segFault and I don't know why).

Updated Ursus to version 1.1.0

Now there is no reboot during the game, so the problem could have disappeared. Say me if it works or not.

Still doesnt work. This time problem occurs when game is loading player mesh - it says in console that application loaded player mesh correctly but after that it hangs... and does nothing :(

I hope you will solve this problem somehow phrounz ;)

I had a very similar problem in a program of mine, where it would load a mesh or texture and then close out, turned out to be that some video cards were capable of handling non power-of-2 texture and some weren't. Are all your textures powers of two in size?
