Here is a short overview of what you&#8217;ll find in the package:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sun Solaris\/SPARC support<\/li>\n<li>improved .3ds, OGRE .mesh, .ms3d and COLLADA loaders<\/li>\n<li>hardware texture coord manipulation and non-power-of-two texture support<\/li>\n<li>possibility to run Irrlicht on Linux servers without X11<\/li>\n<li>additional new UI skin<\/li>\n<li>speed optimizations (FPU)<\/li>\n<li>basic mipmap support for software driver 2<\/li>\n<li>hundreds of bug fixes, enhancements, performance improvements and a lot more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ambiera.com\/irredit\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">irrEdit 0.6<\/a> (including a free global illumination lightmap generator, can also be used for non-irrlicht projects) and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ambiera.com\/irrklang\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">irrKlang 0.2<\/a> have been released some days ago which are compatible with this release.
