This is probably the version with the most new features and implemented user requests in it. Here is a short overview of the most exciting changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support for GLSL. This means Irrlicht now supports all major shading modes\/languages: ARB Vertex Programs, ARB Pixel Programs, HLSL, GLSL 100 &amp; 110, VS1.1 &#8211; 3.0, PS1.1 &#8211; PS3.0<\/li>\n<li>64 bit support<\/li>\n<li>OpenGL RTT support (which means that finally all renderers are able to do RTT)<\/li>\n<li>It is now possible to have multiple scene managers<\/li>\n<li>Vertex and Pixel shader version 3.0 support<\/li>\n<li>Detail map support,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/irrlicht.sourceforge.io\/images\/shots\/077.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">nice for terrain rendering<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Irrlicht.NET improvements: Terrain rendering, realtime shadows, bug fixes and more<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced timer for features like &#8216;bullet time&#8217; support<\/li>\n<li>Improved .dmf and .ms3d loaders<\/li>\n<li>Access to the mesh cache<\/li>\n<li>Lots of bug fixes and a lot more.
