But there is going on more: Stefan Dingfelder is currently working on a\u00a0<strong>Java port<\/strong> of Irrlicht, and it really looks promising: He already got the techdemo working with it (see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/irrlicht.sourceforge.io\/images\/javairr.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">this shot<\/a>).<br \/>\nSeems that the engine is getting more and more portable, it is now working on a lot of rival and competiting technologies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Linux and Windows. (Some people even sent me notice that they&#8217;ve been porting the engine to MacOSX, AmigaOS and XBOX but they never published their work.)<\/li>\n<li>OpenGL and Direct3D.<\/li>\n<li>Java and .NET.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Again, I added some links on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/irrlicht.sourceforge.io\/links.html\">link page<\/a> to some Irrlicht Engine related projects, both from russia:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stalker3d.net\/?rgm=17\" target=\"_blank\">Stalker3D.net<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/blitzgames.vov.ru\/cgi-bin\/YaBB\/YaBB.cgi#general_cat\" target=\"_blank\">Russian Irrlicht Engine forum<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And last: Robomaniac posted a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/irrlicht.sourceforge.io\/phpBB2\/viewtopic.php?t=2153%20FAQ%20by%20\" target=\"_blank\">very useful FAQ link page<\/a> into the forum. Sorry for posting this that late.
