It's all relative...

There exists a function call 'getAbsolutePosition' that retrieves the ACTUAL 3d vector of a scene node if it is connected to a parent node. As in 'getPosition' would only get the 3d vector position offset from the parent. Well, how does one retrive the absolute rotation?

Scene Node pointers...

Is there a quick or simple way for validating whether or not a created scene node pointer i still in the scene manager list or draw? As in to pass a pointer to a function etc?

You have to draw the line before the 'endscene' but after the 'drawall'

How do I draw a 3d line from a scene node ( obviously from it's center position that could be offset via a parent ) to the movement of the cursor ( a 2D coordinate system ) on the screen???? As in knowing the scene nodes 3D vector ( currently static ) and have a line drawn on screen to the moving mo...

I had a friend convert it to 3ds from max for me as I didn't have a package capable of doing it correctly. I think he used maya in the end, but it loaded great yes. Sorry if this is not help.
