IFileList* Access Violation in Debug (Not in Release)
Currently, my code works fine in Release mode, but if I run it in debug mode I get Access Violation message.
Here is my relevant code:
IrrLoader.h

//For Scene Graph
IrrlichtDevice * m_device;
scene::ISceneManager* m_smgr;
scene::ISceneNode* m_collisionNode;

Thanks for the answers, that clears up a lot.
However, I would respectfully suggest that you ask contributors to either assign copyright to you, or at least explicitly license their contributions. Friends and potential partners do split up, and the time to think about who owns what is before that ...

No offense Monochrome, but I don't think I'm going to find good coders that are familiar with Irrlicht at that site. Thanks though.Monochrome wrote:Here's a better site for you

That's an interesting concept, although I'm not clear on what Etienne's goals are (i.e. what's the point of the game?)
The character Etienne's goals are to learn from his teacher, and take a path to the other existence. The story eventually concludes with Etienne escaping reality and permanently ...

New Project - FLASHOVER - Looking for Coders [Help Wanted]
Hi all,
I would like to announce my personal project, Flashover. This game is a 3d Adventure with a over-the-shoulder view camera system (Like Fable/Gothic/Assasin's Creed).
The game is rather fantasy genre, though loosely based off of 13th Century France during the Albegensian Crusade (In the ...

I'm guessing your HUD is 2d, so what I would do here is sprite animation.
That would be explained in this Irrlicht tutorial:
http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/tut006.html
The time code in the draw loop controls the texture swap.
Anyone else have another method?

Ageia PhysX - Character Controller Integration (Need Help)
Hi all,
If anyone is using Ageia PhysX in with Irrlicht, is there any chance someone could post a tutorial on integrating the Character Controller? The basic integration tutorial worked great!
I'm guessing the approach would be to extend the CAnimatedMeshSceneNode class for adding the Character ...
