Easy man! I just know that 100% of whom i know will never pay not even 5 cent for a pacman or space invaders game. Geomaster asked about games created by individuals and small teams, some people said pacman and tetris could beat games with stunning 3d art and high budget, i can't agree, however, som...

:o I don't think any gamer would play tetris, minesweeper, solitaire, or space invaders for fun... i mean, they can play to wait popcorn in microwave, but i doubt any would actually pay to have such kind of game. You know, there are plenty of simple (in gameplay and graphics) games that are free, if...

These examples i don't think are good because are for casual games, a casual gamer play tetris instead of crysis, however, a real gamer will never do this. Anyway, a pretty nice example is Braid. Braid is not-so-simple, however i think a good programmer and artist could easily make something similar...

At least in my country, Archos is very unknown. Isn't there any firmware update that doesn't crash? If Archos is that big, they should support their products very well. In fact, i don't even agree with most opensource philosophies, i just think it's too fanatism, in future maybe would be understanda...

Mono always will be one (or more) step(s) behind .NET... BTW... Visual Studio is not showing the errors while typing; for example, if i forgot an operator it doesn't mark the error :(. And i could not find the option... MSVS is good but definitively is very hard to setup properly. The options aren't...

@Repgahroll: I am not a big MS-fan, but some of the hardware I had from them (Joysticks, 1st generation natural keyboard) were really great imho. OK, currently I don't have any MS hardware (Thrustmaster Joystick, Logitech Keyboard), so this might have changed in the meantime. But: my smartphone wit...

A good way to learn (if you already know how to program and want to improve your level) is to browse source codes from others... For example, if one want to learn how to program a game engine, and already know C++, a good start is to download Irrlicht/OGRE sources and try to understand them... most ...

OMG! Python support! :D

But i'm gonna wait to install from distro repos, i'm not in a hurry...

BTW... reverse debugging is awesome, but i'm sure the IDEs doesn't support it yet, and debugging via command line is boring.

LOL... Did you ever tried NetBeans? Worth at least a try... and you can use it along with CB, just to edit the sources in NetBeans and Build / Make GUI in CB. However Netbeans has Qt Designer integration also, so i am giving Qt a chance. I just retrieved the latest CB from SVN, and the features are ...

Man! I just found the best C++ free IDE ever! :D (IMNO) I switched back to Linux to work a little, and i was searching for a code editor that can do at least a decent code completion, some people said Eclipse CDT was the best, i installed it and it's bad :D, some other said Vim has a nice completion...
