To be fair i was pretty surprised that you'd be able to find any reasons why Irrlicht would be better than an engine made by ID Well, idTech 3 was released in 1999. In nine years Irrlicht should have been able to surpass it, not even ID is able to make engines that can stand nine years being the be...

Strange Errors on Vista
I never caught this before. On my machine with windows Vista home Premium(graphics NVidia9600GT), D3D works perfect with irrlicht. If I try to use OGL, it won't draw, though the consoles show no errors. If I get rid of the "Aero" theme in Vista, OGL works fine. Any ideas. Also, on the same...

I currently use DInput8 for my projects instead of the Irrlicht's event manager, though I aquire all devices in nonexclusive mode so that Irrlichtr will still recieve input as well. I can freely give out the classes I use if anybody were to want them, though they aren't anything special, they do work.

Spreading WinCE device news
Hello. I would like to spread the news of the upcoming support for WinCE in Irrlicht to one or more forums/websites I browse, such as www.modaco.com. I think this could benefit Irrlicht as far as gaining more users as well. Would there be any problems with this?? I just want to make sure. I wouldn't...

I kind of have to agree with Virion here on some of this. I don't really say we need our own format, but we need a good one. I'm not sure about collada, but I know b3d would be just fine. I don't know how to do it myself, but I may have a look to see if I can't figure it out. We need some good expor...

That's mean. ... I will of course apologise for being mean if Violet apologises for being a nobjockey. ;) Don't worry. I don't expect you to apoligize for it, especially since you are right. We all make mistakes, including me, but what's important is that we admit and correct them instead of preten...
