How do I create a partly bumpmapped level in 3DSMax.....I want to create a scene in Max, also texturing it there with plenty of textures , but how can I tell Irrlicht which ones it should attach bumpmaps to....? Is this possible?
afaik none of the importers currently support them. Not in the least prolly cus there are only few EXporters who can actually export bumpmap info (Ogre). An option could be assigning materials in irredit and then use the updated collada loader to load the files created by Irredit
At least obj has support for loading bump maps, maybe also 3ds. I have patches for .cob and .lwo which also support them. It's not properly tested, though, so go ahead and report back the results
