of the Irrlicht package? 16.1 megs is a bit much to handle on dialup without a download accelerator, and other than a backup copy of my resumé my dad doesn't allow me to store anything on his system, otherwise I'd have already used Free Download Manager on it and I wouldn't be posting this.
I got to digging around, and as far as I know the only files absolutely necessary to use the engine are the LIB, DLL, and include files. If I remember correctly the source code alone is over 10 megs, and the examples add quite a bit to it.
So if I don't plan on compiling my own custom version of Irrlicht, I can get by without the demos, and I can get the tutorials off of the tutorials page, would it be possible and/or legal to get only the LIB, DLL, and include files? If so, where would I get them?
Is it possible (or legal) to get only fragments...

Thanks, but two attempted downloads resulted in corrupted zip files.monkeycracks wrote:www.ultimate-ownage.com/irrlicht-1.3.zip
There ya go, it's the latest release.
Only 1.89 mb
I'll probably stick to 1.1 (I have 1.2 that my brother downloaded for me, but I can't figure out what to fix to get 16 and 32 bit color to work for D3D) on my current project, as the changelog talks like I'd have to change quite a few things, and by the time I'm ready to upgrade I should have DSL at my house.
hmm wasn't that something like driver->force32bit or some crap.dwmitch wrote: I'll probably stick to 1.1 (I have 1.2 that my brother downloaded for me, but I can't figure out what to fix to get 16 and 32 bit color to work for D3D) on my current project, as the changelog talks like I'd have to change quite a few things, and by the time I'm ready to upgrade I should have DSL at my house.
