More external tutorials

Post by BlindSide »

It would be nice to spice up the main website the tutorials are all getting a little stale and outdated ("Novadex" isnt even called that anymore). So Im thinking we need a more efficient way of getting contributed tutorials up there. Maybe if we find that something is really useful in the faq/tutorials forums, we can ask the author to convert it to html friendly format and add some pictures, then post it up along side the other tutorials.

If you look at other flourishing projects such as Blender and Ogre, they have literally millions of fan based tutorials posted up in webpage format in full colour with pictures, and im sure alot of people (me included) are willing to make the same for irrlicht provided there is a nice place to put them (in webpage format).

Im thinking the new irrForge is a good place too? *Goes to check out irrForge and hopes this hasnt already been done there* :P

Cheers

I think this is a good idea to make more external tutorials.
The tutorials that come with irrlicht are good but there is much more
things to learn.
