Error Loading *.dae (Version 1.4)

Error Loading *.dae (Version 1.4)

Hello,

I have made a model in Blender and exported it as a
*.dae (Version 1.4) File. Always I open it in IrrEdit
I get the message: "Polycount: 0".
I have read the file with Wordpad and there is an Section:
<polygons count="6">
What went wrong? Can anyone help me?

You have to use Collada version 1.3 or fix the loader in Irrlicht. There's currently only support for Collada 1.3 available.

Another option is to edit the dae file by hand and make some changes. Have a look at the irrlicht dae importer and the blender export script (if you are using blender) and the differences will be clear. It takes only 5 minutes (less than 10 lines have to be edited) when you know how to do it.

Oh, and I have used Collada 1.4. :oops:
