Sketchup pro and Irrlicht

Hello.
I am creating models with Google Sketchup Pro. I export the models to
3ds. When I visualize the model in the Irrlicht some are not seen
correctly. It also happens when I export a model to 3ds with Sketchup and afterwards I import the same model in Sketchup is not seen well.
It can be that Sketctup does not export to 3ds correctly?
Do you know any possible alternative using Sketchup and Irrlicht?

Like as you say that seems a Skechtup´s 3ds exporter problem, you can try to export to another format that the program supports and then use other software to make a 3ds file, but maybe it is too complicated for the worth that it can gives you.
If you like to use simple modelling software just make a search on this forum and you´ll the many choices that people uses
