.Net Physics engine?

Irrlicht.Net is no longer developed or supported, Irrlicht.Net Cross Platform is a much more complete wrapper. Please ask your C# related questions on their forums first.

.Net Physics engine?

Post by shanytopper »

Hello everybody.
I am new to Irrlicht, so please forgive me if it's considerd a newb question. or on the wrong forum)

I would like to integrate Irrlicht with a physics engine (which I read was rather simple, at least with newton) , but there is a small catch. As I am a .net programer (C# mostly) I couldn't find any Free, preferably open source, .Net, usable with Irrlicht, physics engine.

So my question to all of you is: Does any of you know of such an engine which I can use?

Thanks in advance

Hello there! I am new to these forums and C++ AND IRRLICHT but I think I can explain a little bit of useful information for you here. I read that .net is going to be removed soon and a different CP version WILL be implemented.

Edit: Go here: http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/tutorials.html Scroll to the bottom and you should find a few.

A- Untrue, don't forger that .Net 3 was just released a little while ago.

B- There are only tutorials there for C++, not for .Net, or did notice something I did not?

I think what JRyan is trying to say is that Irrlicht is no longer supporting .Net or C#, but rather has delegated the task over to Irrlicht .NET CP, which is over here: http://irrlichtnetcp.sf.net.

Still a long way on learning Irrlicht...
