createFollowSplineAnimator questions

Hi ,


It is posible with createFollowSplineAnimator to change the speed after it was created?If yes ,how can i do it.

No, it's not.

You could very easily create your own custom scene node though. Just check out the source from SVN, copy and rename CSceneNodeAnimatorFollowSpline.cpp/CSceneNodeAnimatorFollowSpline.h, then create an accessor for Speed.

Thanks for your answer rogerborg , I have another question :
It's there any command to make the object , that follow the spline , to stop and then maybe later to continue from there? :roll:

You told me that the speed can't be changed after the spline was created :roll: , only if i make my own custom node(that's hard :oops: )

Yes, that's right.

The easiest way to do this would be:

Compile Irrlicht yourself (it comes with all the sources, and should compile without problems).

Add public accessors for CSceneNodeAnimatorFollowSpline::Speed.

And that's you done. Optionally, you could also submit a patch with your changes so that they can be incorporated into future official releases.

HI,
I'm using CreateFollowSplineAnimator and i want to know how can i detect when the object that follow the spline it is at the last point, because i want to make the object to follow another spline when is at the end of the previous one.
