I haven't had time to dig into this, but it looks like it may be useful within Irrlicht. It makes use of OGRE 3D and wxWidgets, though I don't know if that is in the standalone only, or if OGRE 3D and wxWidgets are used throughout the code.Simul CloudWright: a technology for creating stunningly realistic skies for games. Available as a stand-alone tool or as an SDK for inclusion in game projects, CloudWright uses the physics of light to create high-dynamic range, 360-degree panoramic skies.
CloudWright is in beta, and the current version is set to expire November 30th. A new version will be posted at their site if the testing gets extended.
