Have you written a backstory for your game, or some kind of scenario?
Using this will help me more figure the kind of design your after.
Is is in the past, present or future? Is it in a city, town, desert?
The 2 sword give me the impression it will be in the middle age period. So you will take some elements of the Tolkien's story?
- Do you think you could do some shadowing in your scene. (Lightmaps, or dynamic lighting?)
- If you could do some trails (paths). So it will show where characters walked.
- At that time there where also some roads (made of stones)
- Small rocky bridge going over a small river
- Hays stacks,
- Grange
- Abrevoir, (where the horses drink water)
- A Farm
- Better skybox showing the landscape far away not just a cloudy sky.
In this valley, will there be high mountains? Some water? (River, fountain, waterfall) Also there also some rocks (more when reaching the mountain, less in the plains.
Theses are just ideas that you could put as graphic design elements in your game.
